It is an honor and privilege to address you as the Chairman of Doctors Hospital & Medical Center (DHMC). I am Dr. Farooq Saeed Khan, a proud graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Class of 1983. My journey in the field of medicine began with extensive training in medicine and surgery at renowned institutions such as Services Hospital, Mayo Hospital, and General Hospital in Lahore.

In 1986, I established Farooq Hospital, Allama Iqbal Town Branch, as the first step toward my dream of providing accessible and quality healthcare to the community. With the aim of further advancing medical Services, I completed my DMRD in 1989. Over the years, I had the privilege of spearheading several milestones, including the establishment of the 300-bedded Akhtar Saeed Trust Teaching Hospital in 2000, which caters to the medical and surgical needs of underserved populations.

To contribute to medical education, I founded Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College in 2008, an institution dedicated to producing skilled, ethical, and compassionate health care professionals. In 2012, I expanded our healthcare facilities by establishing the 250-bedded Farooq Hospital West Wood Branch in Lahore, a modern, state-of-the-art healthcare institution. This was followed by opening of three more hospitals namely Farooq hospital Islamabad branch in 2021,Farooq hospital DHA Branch in 2022 and Farooq hospital Bahria Enclave Branch in 2024 and another medical college by the name of Akhtar Saeed Medical College Rawalpindi Campus in 2023.

At DHMC, we remain committed to the same principles that have guided my career compassion, innovation, and excellence in healthcare. With a team of expert consultants and cutting-edge technology, our focus is on delivering patient-centered care while advancing medical education and research. After taking control of DHMC I have started a robust program which enables 5G Robotic Surgery to be done first time in Pakistan.

In order to facilitate patients I have also started construction work in January 2025 to build DHMC new parking tower which will enable us to add 250 additional car parking by the end of this year. This will be followed by construction of the remaining floors of the tower which when completed will make DHMC the largest private hospital of Pakistan.
