May 23rd, 2023, marked a turning point at Doctors Hospital and Medical Centre. We didn’t just launch a BLS training program; we ignited a fire of lifesaving knowledge within our very walls. This wasn’t just about ticking a training box; it was about empowering our staff to become in-house heroes, ready to face any emergency with confidence.
Starting with one session a week, the momentum grew. Medical doctors, nurses, technologists, paramedical staff, even security and housekeeping personnel – over 400 strong, they embraced the training with unwavering dedication. Today, Doctors Hospital boasts a team of 400+ BLS-certified lifesavers, ready to handle any situation, from cardiac arrest to choking, with skill and composure.
But our journey didn’t end within the hospital walls. Driven by a deep commitment to community service, we decided to share this lifesaving knowledge with the world. We opened our doors to healthcare professionals and the general public, offering accessible BLS training.
Why? Because every life matter. We believe everyone deserves the chance to be a hero, to make a difference in the face of an emergency. By equipping our community with BLS skills, we’re not just training individuals; we’re building a network of lifesavers, ready to respond when it matters most.
Doctors Hospital’s BLS story is a testament to the power of knowledge and the spirit of service. It’s a story of transformation, where ordinary individuals become extraordinary heroes, empowered to save lives. And it’s a story that’s just getting started.
Remember, a trained community is a safer community. Take the first step, learn BLS, and be the difference.
