Doctors Hospital has a dedicated surgical oncology service. We have 2 full time surgical oncologists working together as a team to take care of surgical aspects of cancer care. Both the surgeons are highly skilled in open as well as minimally invasive surgical techniques. Our surgical team comprises of Dr. Ali Akbar and Dr Awais Amjad Malik. Both the surgeons have trained and worked as a surgical oncologist in Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital. They provide services in the treatment of colorectal cancers, upper GI cancers (stomach, esophagus), breast cancer, endocrine cancers (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenals), heptaobiliary cancers and gynecological cancers (ovarian and uterine).
